Welcome to the Student Life Committee Page!

Sanjna Srinivasan

Student Life Chair

Welcome to the Student Life Committee page! Student Life lies at the heart of Drexel, and as such, our goal as a committee is to foster a welcoming environment on campus that embraces and represents the ideas, identities, and interests of every student. We intend to achieve this goal by working diligently to gather feedback from the student body regarding the first-year experience, senior-year experience, residential living, mental health, DEI, and all other facets of Drexel that affect students' undergraduate journeys.

My focus as the 24’-25’ Student Life Committee Chair will be on strengthening the sense of community and inclusivity on campus. I plan to prioritize initiatives that bring students together through shared experiences, whether by hosting events, supporting student-led initiatives, or collaborating with various campus groups. Additionally, I’ll work to promote well-being, sustainability, and diversity, ensuring that our committee plays a vital role in enriching student life and making our campus a more connected and supportive environment. I look forward to seeing how our initiatives impact the student body and the university. If you have any questions or suggestions related to your Drexel experience, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at ss5554@drexel.edu.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The DEI subcommittee is committed to serving the student body in conjunction with other student organizations and university administration to ensure that Drexel is as diverse, equitable, and inclusive as possible. Recognizing the privileges we hold within USGA, we do not intend to speak for other identities, but rather to serve as a voice to advocate for students of all identities and protected categories. Current initiatives include anti-racism efforts university wide, international student accommodations and improving the transparency and reporting process of discrimination and sexual misconduct incidents.
